Today’s game update delivers the new Snipers Only Moshpit to Black Ops Cold War! In this new MP mode, two teams show down in Team Deathmatch and Domination on 6v6 maps with only sniper rifles enabled. Lethal and tactical equipment are restricted, as well as Scorestreak weapons such as the Combat Bow and War Machine, so it’s all down to you and your rifle.

Today’s performance update delivers new stability fixes specific to the PlayStation 5, as well as additional stability improvements and an exploit fix for Zombies. And starting Friday, Jan. 15th, we’re kicking off the weekend with Double Weapon XP in Black Ops Cold War and Warzone through 10AM PT Tuesday, Jan. 19th!
New today in Black Ops Cold War: Raid + Crossroads Strike 24/7, the new Gunfight Blueprints and Dirty Bomb Duos MP modes, as well as this week’s Warzone playlist and weapon tuning updates from Raven Software.
We’ve also implemented new gameplay improvements and bug fixes across MP and Zombies, including updates for Daily and Season Challenges, crash fixes in Zombies, a mini-map visibility fix for the H.A.R.P. in Hardcore, and more.

Today in Black Ops Cold War, we’ve addressed a few issues that managed to slip through the cracks following yesterday’s quality-of-life update: restoring the ability to vote on maps in playlists where it was unintentionally disabled, adding Nuketown ’84 back to the Onslaught map list in Zombies, implementing new stability fixes, and correcting a handful of UI bugs.
