As always, by listening to your feedback here on Steam and other social media, we prepared Patch 1.2.1. It is dedicated mostly to fixing crashes, including those on loading save files. Here is the list of changes:
Fixed one of the crashes on loading save files related to AI logic.
Fixed one of the crashes on loading save files that were recorded when player had effects applied.
Fixed a few crashes related to lightning ball anomaly interaction with artifacts.

We are ready to present you Patch 1.2. A massive one, with over 1700 improvements and fixes to all aspects of the game: balance, locations, quests, blockers, crashes, performance, more A-Life 2.0 fixes, you name it. This work wouldn’t have been possible without your feedback and comments on your personal experience with the Zone, thanks for sharing it here on Steam, Reddit, Discord, and other socials.

The first patch of the year 2025 is ready. We addressed the most critical issues, based on your feedback on Steam and other platforms. Please, continue to share your thoughts, as it helps us make the Zone an even better place.
To cut the story short, here is the list:
Fixed crashes and freeze on shaders compilation
Fixed memory leak occurred at Rostok location
Fixed performance degradation when shooting/aiming on saves with long playtime

We have prepared patch 1.1.3 for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl that focuses on Main line story fix, some bugs, and crashes. This patch will be the last for the year 2024, and we will get back to you with the next patch in early 2025.
So, let’s see what the updates bring to the Zone:

Just before the holiday weekend, even more fixes were made for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl. These are addressing the most recent issues with the game. Thanks a lot for your continuous feedback and reports on the “anomalies” you found in the Zone. Together, we are making the Zone a better place.
List of recent changes:
Fixed some issues with shader compilation being stuck, leading to infinite wait time or crash.
Even if Christmastime is coming close, a lot of work needs to be done in the Zone! S.T.A.L.K.E.R.2: Heart of Chornobyl is getting another update.
Patch 1.1.1 will cover two crashes:
Fixed a crash on save load that some players were experiencing.
Fixed some of the issues that led to a crash during shader loading for some players.
This patch will be released on Steam today, and more fixes will soon be added to other stores and consoles.
